Numerous reports indicate Omicron is very mild. Why do you Dems insist on being afraid of everything and trying to scare the general populace? Covid, Covid we're all going to die! Climate change is going to kill us all! (yet Obama buys a $10M house right on the ocean). There's probably other things. I really don't get it. You all need to get a spine and grow a pair.

Not really. I’d guess we’re gonna see a large number of case spikes due to the higher contagious nature. And I haven’t heard of another Omicron death anywhere other than the TX one, not explicitly stated anyway.

Plus you take two week sabbaticals all the time once you’ve dug a deep hole and need for things to cool off so that’s not really any flesh in the game for you. When NY, MA, etc… spike you skulk off. I’ve worked in an operating room for nearly 20 years, some of my colleagues for nearly 50… as far as I can tell we all dispel CO2 just fine lol. We all laugh at the whiners who can’t handle making daily, honestly.

My eldest works in various hospital surgical suites in the greater Memphis area and they are busy with what were once considered elective surgeries until they got told no electives so now nothing is “classified” as elective. Every different hospital she works at throughout the area is just chugging along business as usual. This was from today’s conversation as she was heading in to work.
