Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Probably already posted, but worth sharing again and it's saying what I've been saying for a while...

People are tired of this "pandemic." They are tired of being lied to about masks, getting ineffective boosters, of Karen's causing problems, of elected officials taking way more authority than they should have. And of course, they probably love the President's message of "Happy Holidays and you're going to die!"

People are done with this and it's only going to get worse.

The pandemic has caused nearly two years of collective trauma. Many people are near a breaking point.

I came up negative on my test today. Wonder if my wife is a false positive? She's definitely got something, and I've had a headache and sore throat the last few days.
Dr I do business with said there's a cold/virus going around that's pretty rough and acts a lot like Covid.

He said he's seen a lot of it lately along with a good bit of Flu type A.

You have it completely backwards.
The silly season is people would rather die in 2021 instead of trying to protect themselves.
No the fact that we are considering a fourth shot is silly. We are about to enter a 4th “vaccine” in less than 2 years (really one year - vaccine came out a year ago). I’ve had two of them, I’m not against the vaccine. This isn’t a feasible option to get a booster every couple of months going forward.

I’ve had Covid. I’ve had two shots, and my guess is I will no longer be consider “vaccinated” in the next couple of months. Which is ridiculous.

If it takes another booster to help prevent people from dying, it’s worth it. Regardless it’s sounding like we won’t need it if omicron stays mild, we will find out a lot more in the next two to four weeks. Fingers crossed.

In 4 months winter/peak flue season will be over. What justification would they have to add a booster at that point?

Both of my kids (two doses of Pfizer; one in November and one in early December) caught omicron. One stayed completely asymptomatic. The other had low grade fever (99-100) for two days and some sniffles. Both are now back to normal. I (thrice jabbed with Pfizer) stayed negative throughout, despite quarantining and caring for them. Pretty damn happy with the vaccine performance. I know several people who didn't get the booster and are getting b*tch-slapped by omicron. Not hospitalized, but miserable for a few days.
