Unless Tennessee suddenly figures out how to shoot in the next month, it really won't matter who they have or don't have...

UConn fans are funny...probably moreso some of the fans here. They are proclaiming Ducharme and Juhasz (Hungarian, not Russian) as their new go to players after all of 2 games while trashing Williams/Westbrook/ONO...whom they were praising beforehand. Talk about bipolar moods and unrealistic expectations! They should probably admit that the team has a lot of talented players, but have zero chemistry right now. I don't think Ducharme can be counted on to drop 24 pts night in, night out...although I think she will end her career as a really good player. She's smooth.

As long as Tamari doesn't get in early foul trouble, I think Tennessee will beat UConn (even with all of their injured players back, with the exception of Bueckers). Fudd appears to be easier to guard than Bueckers, and doesn't create her own shot as effortlessly. Tennessee's defense will make it hard for UConn to find easy scoring opportunities. Unless they are bombing away from deep (including Juhasz), I predict that Tennessee wins in a slugfest decided in the last 5 min.

UConn hasn't exactly been lighting it up shooting either since Paige went out. 31% vs GT, 41% vs UCLA and 42% vs LVille. It will probably come down to the team that does a better job of rebounding their misses and converting...which should heavily favor Tennessee right now.

One thing about Louisville down the stretch they made their free throws and had to make a lot of them as UConn kept fouling all the way down to 4.9 seconds. I kept thinking if we were playing could we make all them and hold on to the game. Huge credit to the Louisville girls for making about 10 straight.

I watched the replay and was shocked that UConn didn’t make a 3 pointer until like 4 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter. When is the last time that happened?

The only ones they made in the entire game were by Ducharme the freshman made three. Williams almost made one had a foot on the line. Overall 3 for 15 while Louisville came in with 9 and 53 percent.

UConn usually fields teams with a lot of 3 point shooters...sometimes having 4 on the court at once and a few more on the bench. They only had two 3-pt threats dressed for the game, and they went 3-14 combined (with Ducharme making all 3). That will improve once Fudd gets back, but they are looking downright ordinary right now.

Gotta see to believe Geno won’t find some way to get PB playing in our game, though it may look unlikely now. He’d do anything he can to not lose to Tennessee.

I don't know he is Geno but even he is catching a lot of heat 👀 it's not just the internet chippers either.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Paige back a couple games before their conference tourney and the NCAA tourney and let's be honest it would be the talk of the tourney. Keeping her throttled down may be an issue and she will have to be tapered back a bit if what Geno says is true.

It’s okay to give the team and coaches grief but if someone disagrees, they are attacking? Incessant harping on players and coaches is okay with you though as long as no one says anything back to them? Okay, I got it.
