Nolen: "If I was looking for NIL money..."

OP I have to call BS on everything Nolen has said. If they say it isn't about the money it's about the money! He said he wanted to come to TN, then he says the NIL was better here? He went where the most money was or he was promised things UT wouldn't promise. Probably both. From watching his tape I am not sure he wasn't over ranked. He took a lot of plays off and would just lay down on the field after he got tired.

I said this in another thread but it pertains to this thread. So it’s about money right? So are we to believe that Jackson State was able to offer more money to Hunter than Bama, UGA, Clemson and Texas?

He was told to say that by his handlers, do not be naive to think otherwise.

Handlers? I am not going to assume that. Nolan has lived around Knoxville, and he has grown up with a ring side seat to how things have worked at UT. I can respect his choice, because even though things seem to be on the right track (finally) in Knoxville, there is no guarentee it will stay that way. Obviously, somebody in College Station showed him what he wanted to see for his future. And if things go awry down there? Just like any other player, he has a transfer token.

Cade Mays came home after he had his fill of Athens. Nolan might do the same. Hopefully by then, he will see us worth a second look.

You’re naive if you think money wasn’t involved.

There are all kinds of things to entice an 18-year-old young man. I am sure Dion knows them all. ;) Besides, we are not 100% sure who else was after him.

Sure it was. But those of you saying money was the main motivator for him committing to TAMU are doing so using nothing bud your opinion. You are also assuming Nolen is just lying. My question is why?

You think Nolen is going to tell the whole world he took money from the university to make Jimbo look bad?

He did not "grow up" in knoxville. He only went to Powell his senior year. He is from the Memphis area and has attended several Schools in his 4 years in high school.

Is that so? Well, I will take your word for it. But with today's media, I am sure he could see it both from Powell HS and wherever he was in Memphis.

Do you think it was in McDonalds bags? Or was it the same kind of money that Tyre West got to change his mind?

Do you think Tyre West is gonna tell the whole world he took money from UT to change schools? You're blind if you dont think we do the same thing other schools do. In fact aren't we the ones under investigation? Talk about the pot callin' the kettle black.

Whatever you think lunger. You attack a kid because he chooses another school and say it's only because of money. Yet we are under investigation for paying recruits? Your double standards have no boundaries I see.

Yep, UT= 1794
Texas was 89 years later, 1883. Think about this all the people in the first class at University Tennessee were dead by the time Texas had a University. We are the real UT and it's not even close.
Really, the children of the first class at UT were dead by the time Texas had a university. Probably a decent amount of their grandchildren were dead as well. Their great grandkids were fourth generation Vol grads by the time Texas came into being.

The 5 Yell Leaders who are upperclassmen in the Corps of Cadets. A&M has largest uniformed body of students in the U.S outside of our military schools.. I'm sure you knew it use to be a military school. So you're also anti military?
It’s in the realm of possibility, that A&M’s traditions peg the tacky meter , military affiliation or not.
