‘23 CA QB Nicholaus Iamaleava (Tennessee)

Completely my opinion but I would rather have a sli underweight kid from SOCAL than a comparably talented kid from the midwest who’s a little more filled out. I bet this kid has seen some real legit QB tutoring.
He's a 6-6 16 or 17 year old. Just like Caleb Herring who is also 6-6, they are going to be skinny in high school but as they start to plateau in growth height wise they can add weight, especially with an SEC weight room

A kid that's a junior that is 6'-6 is growing up before growing out. He will be fine. Getting him on board, especially early, would be huge not only for getting a guy with his ability but also the foundation for a great class.

I would be curious to see the recruiting class ranking discrepancy when a school gets a highly rated QB to commit early versus when they don’t.
Would be too - rhough it'll come down to who wants to follow him. People figured HB would help immensely and none of his teammates that class followed him and I don't remember anyone else ever mentioning him. Though there's also reason to believe teammates may not have exactly loved the guy either.

Nico would be nice because Cali kids...but a bad time for Riley to be landing in L.A. too.

But if the kid camps, then that would certainly help.

If we can land this kid which we know at least at this point is very real possibility... If we land him, that's 1-5*, but then very real chance that Caleb Herring ends up a 5*... So very real chance of 2-5*s. Not to mention Ethan Davis TE out of GA is on that Fringe he could get bumped. So there's possible 3-5*s...

I'm sure we will get chances with high profile WRs or RBs if indeed we land Nico. Players want to play with elite players even more so with elite QBs
