I would think invites to future cockaboose parties are a huge draw for them. I really have to hand it to the people who made that happen over there. Back in 98, the guy who asked me to come with him always parked at the Ag campus, and we would walk up Neyland drive to the stadium. There is plenty of railway lines that run around the perimeter of the campus around that way. Once I learned South carolina had done the cockabooses? I realized that if that railroad line were to be discontinued? That could have been done twenty times bigger at UTK.

Heupel will still pluck his chicken feathers again next season. Beamer isn’t a great coach. Florida was on our 2020 level of giving up with a cancerous HC/locker room when they played them.
Tennessee, Georgia, Clemson, and Texas A&M all beat them by 25+points each. He beat ECU 3, Vandy by 1, Troy by 9, Auburn by 4 (1st game w/out Nix after his broke his ankle), and lost to Mizzu.
He managed to accomplish what Muschamp would’ve accomplished with the cupcakes added to the schedule plus beating train wreck Florida. Muschamp beat Auburn and Vandy in 2020 with his 2-7 team.

Beamer had a year like Pruitt's 8 wins a lot of wins because the other teams just lost, IMO fools gold which will make the fall even harder. Rattler had to sit out his Sr year of HS for an undisclosed reason. There's not a good vibe around him. I think he will be a big distraction

With the pick up of Rattler and that TE along with what their recruiting class looks like, the USCjr game just got a whole lot tougher.

say what you will, but beamer is surpassing my expectations so far...now granted, they werent that high. but still. good recruiting class coming in. beat the gators. landed rattler in the portal.

Rattler is a good QB. Even this year when he lost his job, he was completing 70% of his passes. But he does have some character concerns as well.

They'll likely be tough next year, but USCe it's not a QB away from competing for the east title.

According to them, on several occasions, Shane came in (with recruits) and bought them things like Beats headphones…. He’ll bend the rules to try to succeed. In the WF game (above), he obtained the WF playbook before the game. I am not a fan. Rattler could work out well and play a key role in some success in Columbia, but there is also a chance the he brings some issues into the USCe locker room. Either way, I have my own feelings as to how Shane might have recruiting success there.

The real issue here shouldn’t be Beamer’s coaching ability. It’s what kind of NIL deal did it take to get Rattler to go to South Carolina and does Tennessee have the system in place to compete.

I think Rattler is well worth the gamble for them. If he brings locker room issues, you can release him from the team. He has the tools to be win a heisman. With the QB issues, they had, I think it's a no brainer. If JG was still starting for us, I'd be begging for Rattler to have come to UT. I honestly wouldn't have minded if he came here this year, if he was informed he was backing up Hooker before he ever showed up. He still has 3 years of eligibility left if I'm not mistaken.

Oh, I don't know. Sometimes bad boys become good with the right change of scenery. In this case, it could be Beamer in need of showing USCe they made a good HC hire. And a noisy reptile may be less inclined to be noisy. That along with perhaps no real competition at his position. You get enough productivity to at least realignment of the SECe pecking order. I wouldn't laugh at the transfer, strange things happen in football, as we already have seen.
