I never was privileged enough to visit St George Island.it’s difficult to catch fish with this guy judging me for being a bad fisherman View attachment 333060
@Orangeslice13 I only live 25 miles from Pigeon Forge. I avoid the place at certain times because of the traffic. I know a lot of back roads and shortcuts the tourists haven't found yet.Where’s the picture?
I do too.Love it there

Would you be willing to do an eye color transplant? Or donation, or something?I do too.
There is something oddly comforting to me about the area, even with all the touristy stuff that developed since I was a kid.
We drove up Thursday, stopped at the Chili's we usually hit on the way home from ballgames, then stopped and did some shopping at Tanger. Checked in to our timeshare. Went to Harpoon Harry's for dinner, then went to The Island, rode the wheel, and shopped a little.
Friday we got up, and I had to work for a few hours (much as I tried to avoid that). We hit Local Goat for a late lunch, then headed to Dollywood. Beautiful!!!! Texas Roadhouse for dinner afterwards. Had at least 4 people tell me how much they liked my hat, haha.
Went to Sawyers for breakfast, then watched the wind and rain for a while. Good napping weather. Headed up to Gatlinburg, and the lights were beautiful. I don't care how cheesy it is to some, I love it. Had lunch at Smokey Mountain Brewery and watched mizzou lose the basketball game. Did some shopping, then had dinner at Smith and Son.
Such a good long weekend! View attachment 420089
