Tee Time????

I don't know if I would want to work for a HC who always thinks the grass is greener elsewhere. I'll always pulling for Tee though.
He left us for what everyone knew was the only job he would have taken. Just so happened it was after his first season here and they were forced to go very far down their list. He's potentially turning Ole Miss into the next powerhouse of the west or at least the ones that will take Bama's spot once Saban retires, he ain't going anywhere.

I laughed so good at this. History tells me Ole Miss will never be a power that takes over ever. Two, Kiffin will leave as soon as he is given a shot at a better place. History tells me that too.

He won’t ever beat Saban or win the west at Ole Miss

His recruiting does not reflect your prediction.

Kiffin is not the flight risk some of y’all want to believe he is.
- Crazy Al Davis tried to get him to resign, so he left the Raiders.
- He had a good year at TN, and his dream job opened up. Sue him.
- Went to USC. They fired him. We laughed, but USC has sucked since, while Kiffin has gotten better.
- He became the OC at Bammer. Did well, but he’s a HC. We knew it wasn’t a permanent position.
- He was offered a HC position at FAU, which is a step up from OC but still a platform to a larger position. He did very well at FAU. They hated to see him go.
- Now he’s the HC at Ole Miss.
His path has been more than understandable/reasonable. He’s no different than the majority of HCs in CFB. They all took similar paths, except a lot of times, when they get knocked down, they don’t come back up as quickly. That because Kiffin is a heck of a HC.

Tee should jump at the opportunity. Kiffy will leave in another year or two
Boom Tee HC by default.

This, 1000x this.

The reason Kiffin is a flight risk is because he and/or his agent put his name out for every decent sized job that comes up. One gets the sense that he prefers a bigger urban environment for whatever reasons and would take a job elsewhere in a minute. What Kiffy is doing is bringing Tee in for recruiting purposes and NOT to run the offense.

I don't think so. He just got a raise at Ole Miss. Honestly, why would he ever leave Ole Miss? He isn't expected to win the division. If he wins between 7-9 games/ year with the occasional 10 win/ NY 6 bowl that fan base will be ecstatic.

It would be a good move for Tee. He would get to learn under a great offensive mind.

I'm pretty ambivalent about it though.

It won't be Tee Martin as OC at Ole Miss.

Kiffin will not hire an OC that could make Arch Manning and the Manning family go hmmmmmm.

Tee Martin would elicit more than just a hmmm from the Manning family.

Spot-on, but a lot of Tennessee fans aren't going to let bygones by bygones until the Vols kick his tail. I was hoping we'd do it this year and Heupel almost did. It's not going to be over until he does. My feelings on the matter were that he just wanted back in LA, and if our AD had done a better job replacing him, he'd just be a footnote now.

He's a good coach, better now than he was in 2009. Good for OM that they have him for however long they do. But I think we have a good coach now too, and I'm more interested in what he does than what a guy who left 12 years ago does.
