The Atlanta Braves

No thanks, GAVol did it in 8 words. I figured it was money but I don't know the details. I thought they were getting paid plenty.

The main thing is the players are adamant about reaching free agency earlier and drawing more from revenue and the owners don’t want that, especially the revenue part especially after the pandemic.

Diversion tactic? AA trying to appease and show fans Braves will spend if FF walks? Correa looking for $300M+ and Braves won't give FF $180M? Fishy.

I really don’t understand the issue with a 6th year for Freddie. I mean, we just stole a championship, we are playing with house money. A 6th year is small potatoes. It’s inconsequential to the greater scheme and the risk reward.
They’ll be giving scrubs $50-60 million by then anyways

He could play third and Riley shift to first. 10/300 and 6/180 are the same AAV. 🤷🏼‍♂️
Agree we could move Riley, but we need a LH bat at the top of the lineup. I’d rather have the 38 yr old LH 1B with a 300 career avg than a 38 yr old SS/3B whose best year was .279 and fewer HR than FF for the same AAV.

Also, I just wanna say I'm not in favor of that whole Correa idea. He's solid but he isn't Freddie. And if it's not going to be Fred the only acceptable plan B is Olsen
