Why are we dropping cash on a cheerleader?

Because:
1) There's an organizational black hole in CF and they need bodies at the MLB level.
2) He's cheap.
3) Foam swords are fun
4) OK . . . I can't explain it either, but don't F with chemistry.

I obviously want FF to stay, but this offseason is madness. It's like an overreaction for the near financial pit MLB skirted around the pandemic. I just hope FF and the braves are trying to work something out where they can chase a few more championships versus having an absolute waste of money in a 38 year old pitcher for $40M+/yr... I mean, who would do that with the actual best pitcher already on their staff... oh, the third place, .500 mets
