The SI Vols vs Penn State projection appears to be wrong. Big 10 and ACC alternate every 3 years and this year looks to be ACC's Thats still where I want to go regardless of who we play 1973_Gator_Bowl_Game_Program.jpg

Like your confidence and hope it works that way. For a 7-5 team that would give UT the most exposure regardless of the opponent.

PS......looks like we'll have an ACC opponent if we're selected for the gator bowl. UVA or Wake would be my guess. Would love Clemson though.

Same here and having spent time in NC....I can say I have never seen a more front running, bandwagon-jumping fan base.

I literally broke up with a girl I was dating that was a UNC grad in part to that loss. I was getting gigged for it 6 months after the game.

I’ve grown up in it. I live 15 minutes from Chapel Hill right now. I get the support for the basketball team because they are a blue blood, Michael Jordan, Dean Smith, the whole thing, but I absolutely loathe the front running football fan base that comes out of the woodwork every time they’re supposed to be good. Emphasis on “supposed” to be good. By the end of Labor Day weekend they were back in their usual hiding places after that preseason top 10 ranking went to hell. Epic choke job to NC State th other night too.
