All Thangs Pussum and Chad Thread

Was talking about food in another thread and it reminded me that I'm gonna try to make an air fryer boxed cake Thursday. Long story why, but I'm gonna do it without any help. I haven't googled it or seen any recipes.

I'm gonna split it into two bowls, the ones I use to make my frit....I mean air fryer eggs.

I think the box calls for 2-3 eggs, water and vegetable oil.

I'm gonna add 2 more egg yolks. Use coffee instead of water. Butter instead of oil.
Add some salt, sugar, flour, vanilla and sour cream.
And I'm gonna make the frosting. I'm thinking Chocolate cream cheese.

I'm gonna try the first one at 325 and see what it's doing at about 20 minutes. I'm thinking I'll probably have to cover it then and crank it up to 400 for another 10-15 minutes. Idk.

Worst case scenario is it it gets a little crisp on top and the edges but not completely done in the middle. It'll still be edible. Actually, almost hoping the first one is a disaster.

Coffee instead of water??

You ever made a box cake? I haven't. I made some box brownies back in the day. Me and my roomie used to bake them after getting baked. Sometimes we'd just make the mix and eat it out of the bowl.

I need a cook around the farm.... to many suppers where I just open and eat a can of random veggies.... Hell if you can cook like that, I might offer to make an honest man out of you.

Now these fine ladies, they had a plan
They was out to meet the boys in the band
They said, "Come on dudes, let's get it on"
And we proceeded to tear that hotel down
