The Official Tennessee @ #18 Kentucky Game Thread, 7:00 PM ET, ESPN2

That 4th down fail could be very crucial and hurt. As a coach you have to be smart and flip the field. Your defense is gassed and getting gashed. Punt and make them drive the field. Can't play for luck, gotta be smart.

You really think we should have punt??

Yea you always punt on like the 36 yard line……don’t you know?

Some folks always know best “after” the play. Never mind if the lineman just makes a block.

If they tried a 50+ yarder and missed folks would have “known” better.

If they punted……folks would have complained because they punted and gained only like 15 yards of field.

I had to listen to radio a bit on the way from one place to another and wife had found Sirius station. The announcers were extremely biased. They were so excited for every Kentucky play and pissed at a Tennessee first down.

The woman commentator, Beth something, is impossible to listen to. Like many women, she yells into the mic to compensate.

If we punt there it’s very likely an 18 or 23 yard punt if we took a delay. Not the worst call in the world, give your O a chance.
I agree. Going for it in 4th down was the right call knowing our defense can’t stop KY. Unfortunately, the line failed and then Hooker dropped the ball

Irrelevant, if the defense doesn't get a three and out, it's going to be a TD anyway.
