I know it isn't my parents but I have been through it with my moms mom helped take care of her and they don't know who you are and now my Dad's mom and I have helped take care of her. So it's a good chance that I will be taking care of my mom and dad one day. It's sad but atleast they don't hurt and remember the bad stuff.Sorry for the derailment.
Thanks for letting me share/vent.
Back to football
Yes and ticket prices are high.are they sold out ?
That's tough man. I'm going through that with my dad. He still knows who I and my brother are, but he tells my mom all the time that she is not his wife. And what did she do with her. Several other things. It's really hard. That's one of the reasons I'm trying to get back to Tennessee, so I can help my mother out with what is going on.So…. I had this whole thing I was going to do and it started off as expected but then sadness and it derailed my fun.
Went by my parents house today to check on a window. While there JayBird asked me if I was a handyman. (First time he didn’t know who I was) I told him I was a contractor. He said “my son is a contractor “. He then proceeded to tell me all about…..me. Fortunately it turns out he thinks I’m a good guy.
It could be a lot worse I guess. He could think I’m an *******.
Anyway. I appreciate all of you who have offered support and prayers for JayBird. It’s been a tough week and I realize this is a football thread but unfortunately for you guys, y’all are my imaginary friends. Which means when I’m having a tough time you have to hear about it.
Shalom y’all.
My dad has decided that my mother is gone and the lady there now has been her replacement for about 5 years. He likes her/mom so the Drs say not to fight him on it. Sometimes he remembers mom is mom. That's tough man. I'm going through that with my dad. He still knows who I and my brother are, but he tells my mom all the time that she is not his wife. Dementia is a horrible disease and I don't wish it on anyone.
