I'd never done it until we were in Clearwater several years ago. Couldn't get a grill, so we did that since the condo had an iron skillet. Wasn't bad at all.

Before you spend a couple hunnert dollars on it, try the Walmart Sam's choice. It's from a company (Annasea) that's mid-grade in quality tuna.

Was given a venison tenderloin. Must say, it was quite delicious. I have ground venison too that will likely become tacos

That was a big bigass deer to have a tenderloin that size. Sure it wasn't a chunk of filet (backstrap).

Ironically, the New York strip is infinitely better slow cooked in an oven then pan seared.

On a grill, filet mignon is best, then ribeye. I used to love t-bones, but don’t care for them as much anymore.

And for The record, I was arguing the back strap was better.

Unless you didn't mean that a NY Strip is better cooked in the oven then finish it with a pan sear. If you meant it's better cooked in the oven rather THAN seared in an iron skillet, well that's a whole different story and I believe your rong twiced.

On the other one, if your saying filet is best and ribeye is second, than it's used correctly, but imo you're wrong on that to.
