Harrison Bailey, thy time is now….

I’m not sure it’s fair. Milton was the only one that was recruited by CJH and all they had to go on was practice. They had to choose one. Miltons arm strength is hard to ignore.

Hooker took a minute before he looked good. The first game you could see potential but he also wasn’t convincing. The same could be said for Milton.
When Hooker fumbled the ball and in the game against Pitt, man there were so many he sucks and start HB now post on here that it was ridiculous.
The people that were privy to the practices all said Milton looked the best, what's a coach supposed to do? Ignore that and say naaaaw I'm going to start this freshman
I don't see how people keep saying CJH has an ego or stubborn.

If that’s the case he should pack his bags now, but something tells me he isn’t a loser

Telling the coaching staff that he’s not interested in playing another down at UT in order to protect his future and then entering the Portal after the season for an opportunity to play elsewhere doesn’t make Bailey a loser. Milton is the “chosen one” and claims he can do it all so if Hooker is out then let Milton take the beatings since he can “do it all”. I have ZERO faith in Milton. It’s like watching Forrest Gump behind center.

Everyone watching practice before the season though Milton was the best option. Everyone. most watching practice thought Hooker and Bailey we’re about the same behind Milton. We’ve all seen the results of game time.
Bailey hasn’t played great, or even good when given a chance. Maybe Bailey would develop the way Hooker did given some extended game time but Bama is not the place to experiment.
If Hooker can’t go I’d run the wildcat with Milton before I’d get Bailey killed behind our broken and beat up O line.

I worry about Baileys confidence more than anything in a game like that. That would be a tough thing to overcome mentally.

I think he’d survive if he was thrown into it. But I don’t see the need to risk it when you have a backup who has seen that level of play before.

I agree. If Milton does like he has in the past, do you give the nod to Bailey with Kentucky? I do. I tell him it's team go win the ballgame.

We get a week off before Kentucky. If Hooker is done and Milton plays like Milton vs Bama then you have to seriously think about giving HB that 2 weeks to be ready

HB is a much more accurate passer than Milton. I don't care if Milton can throw the ball out of the stadium. If he can't show a catchable ball, he is useless plus one needs to use one's brain a little bit to play this game and win. We learned in the 2nd half of the USC game, we don't play well just running the ball and we would not have beaten USC with Milton . We don't know how we would have played with HB, but we will not win with Milton.
Amen

Wildcat with Milton? He’s scared as a yard dog. He may end up running backwards to keep from being hit

He hasn't even played in garbage time. He won't play unless Milton and Hooker are hurt

Exactly and why IMO Heupel for reasons of his own has and will continue to do everything he can to keep him off the field.

Heupel will do everything possible to keep HB off the field IMO. He has his own reasons and he has not revealed them. Any of us here at VN that lay out the why are doing so with pure speculation. I speculate it's an ego thing for Heupel. How do you allow the 3rd stringer to take the field, possibly out play the guy you told the world was #1, that ending up being a giant suck job and before the public eye out played by #2 and who gets outplayed by #3? Hooker took that QB whisperer thing Heupel had down a few pegs and if Bailey takes the field successfully, it totally discredits that altogether. Heupel ain't having that y'all.

The BVS is strong with this one.

Players play and compete, losers quit. It’s just that simple. If Bailey

You've been oddly silent as Hooker has shown himself a very good QB. It's good to have you back! Are you ready to admit Hooker is a fine QB yet?

Suggesting Bailey play against the Bama rush when our O Line is depleted and Bailey is less mobile than the city of Mobile is a death sentence for the kid.

He's still not a fit for the offense. As you've seen the success Hooker has had with Heupel's offense, please tell me how Bailey resembles Hooker's style in any way. I'll wait.

I am suggesting that we sacrifice Bailey.
