With Hooker out this means......

Well we aren't going to win against Alabama next week even with Patrick Mahomes as QB1

Next week is a bye week no harm no foul

Kentucky is where this is going to hit hard. This is a team we can beat and should be able to beat. Not your dad's Kentucky but a winnable game just like Ole Miss was.

UGA we aint going to do anything no matter the QB

South Alabama, we can put Garuanto under center and win 24-10

Candy we can win with a Tyron Evans under center running Army's playbook with just running plays.

I hope and pray he's back, but if he is not we go 6-6 if he comes back for the Kentucky game we might go 7-5 (4-4)
Kentucky may not average 40 points a game, but why is this considered a game “we should win?” They beat Fla (which seems be impossible for UT), and pounded an LSU team that also beat Fla. And although the outcome wasn’t in doubt, they lost by 17 to Georgia without 2 of their best DTs.

Kentucky is this close to wrapping up a major bowl game for the first time in our lifetimes. They will not overlook us like 3 years ago. Their front 7 will destroy our OL. We play them after Alabama so who knows how many other guys will be hurt.

The Vols are better than a month ago. But so is Kentucky. We CAN beat tnem, but I would stop well short of saying we SHOULD beat them.

If TAMU can beat Alabama, so can we. Sure, it's a stretch. Sure, we are injury-laden and thin. But, it can be done. We will carry the fight to the Tide for 60 minutes.

When will we know for sure about Hooker?
Heupel has shown us that he will not divulge anything until kickoff.
He gives no actual FACTUAL injury information.
Thats his right, of course.
However frustrating that might be to fans especially those that gamble on games.

At full strength and with Bama committing a few turnovers, we could.
but not under our current circumstances

There's obvious concern, but I don't have anyone saying anything for sure. He's been battling a pretty good knee bruise. I think the plan was to let it settle down and see what it looked like later today. They will do the MRI and all that stuff.

I don't see him playing at Alabama. But whether he's back anytime soon will depend on the MRI results looking at his ligaments.

Easy…. TAM is and has been a better football team than us for 20 years.

Yes, our season is now ALL about the UK game. The other 4 should not be in doubt.
I say for Bama we basically play our second and third teamers.
Rest any first teamers or those with injuries.
plus they then get the bye week to prepare for UK.

How is our season all about UK? If we beat UK, we go 7-5. Lose to them and we go 6-6. Which is what most fans picked us to go anyway.

I know Joe Milton is unpredictable....and that run out of bounds at the end of the game was the bonehead decision of the year in college football.

But....the play before.... it was catchable for a game-winning TD.

Most any QB coming in cold late in the game is more apt to make fundamental mistakes. Especially when it comes to clock awareness. He should have done better. But players are going to make mistakes. I am not going to break out the torches and pitchforks over it. I prefer to let the coaches do their job, and correct it.

I think he just kinda froze because he was surrounded by like 4 or 5 guys. Like there was no where to go. Maybe he just couldn't figure out what to do?

It was bad, but idk it was kinda a hopeless spot. Dudes in front, beside and behind him. Still you plow forward...

Too bad he wasn't Vince Young in that moment.

Yeah had like 2 or 3 game winning runs that's why I brought him up.

I was watching and cheering on the Packers. Only time I ever really followed the Titans was when Air McNair was there. A buddy of mine from Nashville actually took me to his restaurant a couple of weeks before he got killed. Good eats. Anyway, once he went to the Ravens, I kind of lost interest in the Titans.
