Joseph Lowery: 'Lord, in the memory of all the saints who from their labors rest, and in the joy of a new beginning, we ask you to help us work for that day when black will not be asked to get in back, when brown can stick around... when the red man can get ahead, man; and when white will embrace what is right. That all those who do justice and love mercy say Amen. Say Amen'

when will us whites embrace what is right, i didn't know that for years, i've never embrace what is right.

this prayers just summerized the idiocy and hypocrisy of the left. it's going to be a long four years.

I did think that statement was unecessary - definitely not in the spirit of unity, new type of government, etc.

no, they didn't miss it. liberals are still living in the 60's. we just elect a half black president and they are still acting like they can't vote. typical liberals. it will be the theme of how our country will be run.

yah, lowery really exposed the root of the so called race problem in America, idiots like him that perpetuate stereotypes. "When white will embrace what is right..." That is about like me getting up there and saying when black will get off crack, when they will get a job, and no longer be a slob, when they will stop being a drain, and alleviate the welfare pain.... (i can rhyme and be racist as well jack@$$)

Believe me, nobody, especially no man that I know that's worth his salt, wants to be on welfare. To know that you can't do things by yourself is depressing to say the least. But, without the welfare, most of those people are living in a refrigerator box downtown.
