Souce's Coffee Discussion Thread

Makes sense
It does to me. Most of that flavored stuff is just too strong by itself. Mixing it the way I do works really good for me. If it's a good product. I normally buy Starbucks Mocha but Wally world and Publix were out and Amazon wanted way too much, so I thought I'd try this one.

I’ve been mixing Starbucks espresso with either their breakfast blend or their pikes peak

Hay, FAWK U....I always test new coffee before I go start ruining the good chit by mixing!!!
I'm not drinking it by itself. I want to know what it tastes like mixed with the good stuff. I ain't rich, but I can afford to ruin 1/4 cup of coffee grounds to test it.

It's good. Not as good as the Starbucks though. Starbucks has a deeper smooth chocolate flavor.

I'm a non-conformer. I don't care for much of anything Starbucks. It all tastes burnt. The only good blend they make that I will drink is the Siren's Blend. If you have not tried, I think it's their best offering by a long shot.

However, I do fancy Cafe Bustelo. The best espresso ground coffee hands down. I'm a huge fan of Cuban Coffee, and this duplicates it the best I can brew. I was using an Italian Moka Pot. Now, I use an Aero Press. With nothing else but a shot of Natural Bliss Sweet Cream, the best morning cup I can muster. Plus I can add extra hot water to the mug and make it a "normal" cup of coffee.
