If they offered him they will make a push but it’s pretty late in the game and I haven’t heard his name until this week in relation to Tennessee but I guess will see.

Don’t think it’s related to Mitchell or anybody else on our board. Think the coaches just saw Phillips play and liked his game, so they offered. I personally don’t think we get Mitchell (FSU) but I do think we will get Wallace.

Yeah I know. He was friends with my brother and they graduated together. My brother did the lords work to try to make him choose UT too.

I will say Dorman has been bending the rules to a breaking point for a public school. Football and Basketball have literally been recruiting kids from all over the state for a decade. Plus their facilities blow everyone else out of the water.
The football stadium picture is old. They had a 30’x30’ jumbotron put in around 2010.

Fwiw Rob Lewis makes it sound like Tennessee will recruit Phillips hard and have some ties from Gainey to him as well

Seems like Florida State and LSU probably biggest players for him, be interesting to see if FSU lands Mitchell if it has an impact on Phillips. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Tennessee get an OV in the fall.
