Funny you popped up with this. I know it's way to early; but ever since it was announced, I've thought AR probably got a steal with Pittman. We have a habit of dreaming about "successful" coaches who then flamed out at the next gig and hiring imitators (Jones and maybe the Hype) who "successfully" took over programs after their mentors moved on. Somewhere there's probably a Frank Broyles type turning out real coaching material (at least you might hope so) ... it's not Saban, and I wish we could find that guy and tap into his stock.
