Official Gramps' Memorial Eternal OT Thread

LOL Yes they’re QB is better than anything we have on the roster but we still had the win in hand despite all of the stupid penalties and assignment mistakes.
This game should scare the piss out of you. We only have 2 -3 teams left on the schedule with less talent (on paper).
4 - 5
Tech
S alabama
USCe
Vandy.
Mizzou (may be a push).

Possibly. Other factors also have influence.
Talent, Development, Coaching, Experience of players, Continuity in system.

Reminder, we were the underdog in this game.
Imagine going back to 2001 me and telling him one day we’ll be underdogs against Pitt. I’d have a eye full of Levi Garrett spit.

I wish 3” hemorrhoids on the officiating crew for the crappy job they did. Well into the 4th quarter before their second Pitt penalty.

Did they set a record for penalties called? That's where I tend to agree with hog. The old thing about learning to walk before trying to run, and getting a bunch of moving pieces in sync at a more moderate speed before trying for fast. I've always disliked coaches who base the strategy around a gimmick to try and make up for not having a sound team. Hype apparently has the team pumped up - that's pretty obvious. But he probably should be working on fundamentals - like passes actually thrown near the receiver; and probably slowing it down so the defense gets a breather - otherwise it's just Butch Jones v2 with a more likeable guy. On the good side the team looked better and appeared to want to be there.
