serious hangover being back home,
boys absolutely loved it, and son told me this afternoon that they were going to attach all the seagull feathers they collected and fly back ASAP. Think Ill join em.

Dylan immediately beat the infection he picked up at end of vacation,, but it's been dowhill for me since Sunday. Eardrops offered no relief and the pain got serious last night. Got lucky and got to doc; this afterrnoon, got two shots in behind, scripts for amoxycillin and drops with orders to contact him Thursday and that he would get me to ENT if no improvement. Cant believe this, I lived in pools,oceans, lakes and mountain streams in my younger years and have never experience even a mild earache much less a water-borne infection.

Hope you and other zoners are all well. Will get back to threads at some point soon.

Hang in there! No one respects what earaches and ear infections are like until they have one, and then wow.

Swimmer’s ear sounds like nothing until you have it.

Alot of people are not getting it because religious reasons and those seem to be right leaning blacks are scared because they have been tested on before and some people are truly afraid of the vaccine. My ex just got her second shot and seems to have had a reaction she can't taste or smell and has been sick. The new variant is more contagious in kids and they can't get the shot. My son was going to get the shot and he couldn't because it was madurna I think at a certain age they can get the Pfizer one but now his mom has had a bad reaction he don't want to get it. A guy I work with got his shots and he keeps thinking it's going to kill him he is actually terrified he is going to have a heart attack. Now are job is making us be vaccinated by October our we could get in trouble so in other words fired and there is people mad that didn't want to get it and now are being made to some are opting out for religious some are saying they can just walk me out and expect a lawsuit. I had made the choice to get my shot before all this happened my son and I both was. Now I don't like being told I have to and now kinda scared of reactions.

I am not sure what you're asking. I am at a much smaller school, I am sure. We are running at about 1/3 absent (most quarantined) each day. Yes, it is worse than last year, but more students have taken the vaccine.

We have a lot more students here taking the vaccine than we did in the spring. We did not have many take it then, even when they came to school to give the vaccine.

We also have several scheduled for their first vaccines tomorrow.

How are they getting the vaccine my ex said my son couldn't get his that they wasn't giving them to kids. But I found out it was the brand . I think only one kids can get is Pfizer. I need to look it up.

All my students are getting the Pfizer.
My students are in Virginia. I don't know if that makes a difference or not. ????

This is what worries me about my son and I my son was born with a bicuspid heart valve and it was inherited.

Kids can get pfizer. Go get pfizer Rocy, reactions to it have been minimal. You are working yourself into an anxiety attack over most likely nothing. Let your son read Gordon's posts about the twins. Get your shots and maybe feel bad or possibly wind up in the ICU with a tube breathing for you. Not getting a shot because you are scared is not a reason.

Regarding the religious reasons, most of those claiming that are full of it. Approximately 1% of schoolage kids do not get vaccinations due to religious reasons. It is estimated that 15-20% of the workforce would claim religious reasons in the event of a forced vaccination.

I don’t know 8283s regular job. I don’t know what inside info 8283 has on Rocy. And I’m not trying to slight 8283. But Rocy should listen to his doctor about his health, not any random internet person.

You don't think they believe what they believe, or what they believe is not true?

I mean, I know people at my church that are convinced they use fetus stem cells in the vaccinations and for that reason they refuse to get the vaccination.

So, really doesn't matter how stupid you may think they are for believing that, if they genuinely believe that, how would that make them full of it?

I believe most people are trying to use "religion" as a strawman defense as a reason not to get vaccinated.

Most who are using this excuse aren't using it because they are mis-informed or actually have those beliefs, its because they think its the way to keep from having a forced vaccination.
