Coronavirus (No politics)

Yeah, my mom has had COVID, and has also now been vaccinated. She had COVID around the same time I did.
Then I’m glad both of you are vaccinated, and I don’t want to hear from anyone that doesn’t believe in being vaccinated because of what I’ve seen in the last year and 6 months. I will simply skip over your post.

My second Moderna was last Thursday. I ran a fever and felt rough. Feeling better today, but like I said, my arm is still sore.

My second shot of Pfizer kicked my butt. Woke up with chills shaking like crazy with a 102 temp. Then the fatigue hit and ohh man did I feel rough for a day but the next felt fine just a little weak for a couple of days. This was back in the last part of March and middle April.

I had the Moderna and felt just a bit weird for about a day and that was that. My arm barely got sore at all. I have a dr's appt early next month and will get my flu shot then. Although it's a bit weird also that noone ever mentions the common flu since Covid arrived in 2019.

I was told not to get it last year, 1- it was April 2- not to interfere with Covid Vax.

I will for sure get it this year. Along with booster

Oh and the stories my wife could tell over that same period as well. Although she is the director of case mgmt. at our local hospital, she has helped numerous times on the floor since she has her rn degree.

I never even knew I had either shot (moderna) . Zero side effects.
Yet...

Niswonger just released had largest single day inpatient for Covid, since 2019. 4 of them are in the ICU. My good friends wife is an Peds ER Doc there. Pray for them all.

Please, all ego, politics aside. Please if you havent gotten vaccinated, please do so. Friend of mine lost a family member last week. One brother was vaccinated, just got sick. Other, not vaxxed went on vent and was gone in 3 days. Completely avoidable.
It is heartbreaking and infuriating..

Staffing issues are happening everywhere.
This is a company that forced staffing issues before any of this happened. They were beyond short handed when they took over the hospitals and it's gotten worse since. No that company is a **** company and the NG having to come in is on their hands

Always planned on it, but I got COVID 10 days after my first shot in March and had to wait for medical reasons. Have to have a third one next month. Eventually everyone will, but because I'm immunosuppressed, they recommend I do it now.
I'm getting that third one asap. I'm not scared of Covid, already had it with little ado, but I transport a lot of elderly unhealthy dummies that listen to every idiot out there and refuse to get vaxxed. I'm going to do what I can to protect them, even if they are too stupid to care...it is absolutely infuriating.

What is the latest on masking and such for the Tennessee games? Is it spiking enough for authorities to go to a mandate? We're slowly getting back to masking up in Utah. Getting a spike in new cases now. We had over 2000 one day last week.

Note to self: Apparently, the secret is breast milk in your coffee.

I knew this post would be shoved into the appropriate place, but dang, it happened fast. That’s a record for me 😏.
