My grands are just getting over hand, foot, and mouth which is spreading pretty bad here along with several other things. Aren't you in another state? (Prayers for both and your family). EdIT...just saw the other post

This thing is just gonna keep mutating. What worked was distancing and hygiene. People acted like a rapidly developed vaccine was a license to ignore those practices and quickly spread it back around. Everyone spreads it. The next mutation may well be completely resistant to the vaccine. If people really want this virus to go away, stay home as much as you can.

I have a couple in their early thirties that we have known since birth and is my stepmothers nephew...this couple are/were aggressive anti-vaxxers that have two small children under five, the husband is now literally at deaths door and his wife is about to be in ICU if her condition does not improve.

I ask everyone to please pray for them...this situation is both heartbreaking and infuriating..it is absolutely needless and pointless..

Is this couple in Knoxville? Not sure if we know the exact same couple or just that this exact scenario is happening all over the place.

. The mutations are def going to get worse this thing was engineered to do that effectively and quickly. The vaccines will be useless by November probaly and that will set us back another couple of years. Now imagine if this thing mutates into a far worse strain where instead of a 98 percent survival rate it drops to 75 percent yea quite scary to think about and then we gotta develop a whole new vaccine while this virus just keeps on going and mutating and killing. It could never end.

To update this, just spoke with my Dad and the wife is better, also one of the kids has a mild case if I understand him right...sad news is another long time family friend lost a otherwise healthy daughter to Covid at the age of 34 who has/had two teenage children...no underlying issues, just another that was loudly anti vaxxer..it is so sad and pointless.

Also...the husband is still hanging in there but it isn't good.

Daughter's entire family has it now. By God's grace we are blessed to have doctors who have had excellent success treating it (with a variant of the FLCCC's protocol), so they are doing ok, but they aren't having much fun with it. Some shortness of breath, usual flu symptoms, lost taste/smell, but so far O2 is holding steady in the 90s. Delta is no joke, y'all.

It's been over a month since this post. Admittedly, I haven't kept up with this thread for the last week or two, so I may have missed any new posts from you...but I'm wondering what your current thoughts are regarding the Delta variant and its affect on children compared to previous variants.

My daughter and her whole family got it, five total (kids are 13, 3 and 2). Thank God they pretty much blew right thru it. None of them got very sick and didn't even need to go to the doctor.. 🙏

Nope...it is not. I am thinking of asking my doc if I can just take the shots again, it has been eight months and with my and my wifes job being what they are I will run into it again.

Based on what data? Vaccination rate has started to tick up but those getting their first shot are still a couple weeks out from it being effective.
