There is nothing incorrect about what I offered. If it's been 6 months since you had your last dose and you would like a booster you can get one. Several doctors have said getting a third dose of the original vaccine can really help protect you against the Delta variant.

Then why the suggestion to lie about it to get the extra shot?

It's a booster shot man. That comment is meant for people who would have already willingly gotten fully vaccinated but in need of a booster.

The immunocompromised need those shots right now, and it's only for them that a booster has been approved.

I don’t know if anyone that recommends the vaccine while you are case positive. Regeneron is the best thing if you have it.

Well the OP got vaccine and he is in hospital(prayers for him!). Also everyone says you can still spread the virus if you are vaccinated so I’m not sure how it helps beat the virus.

It’s not perfect but it’s 95 percent better than nothing.

Having just got over Covid, I spent my down time researching as much as I could. Not all viruses are the same and therefor not all vaccines are the same and.
So, it turns out that vaccinated people can get Covid and still spread it. Not a good thing. You know who else can get Covid and spread it? Unvaccinated people. And their chance of getting hospitalized, serious complications or death are substantially higher. Like through the roof substantial. In addition to research I watched about every theory about the vaccines from Bill Gates chipping us to changing our DNA. I also watched careful rebuttals that provided real scientific data. I can say that 98% of that anti vax stuff is pure bunk, from the alleged graphene in the vaccine to the danger of EO in the pcr test.

Vaccines have helped us stamp out a large number of pandemic level diseases from Small pox to polio. Other vaccines have helped is to control less serious diseases like the flu. Isn’t it funny that last year was a record year for flu vaccination and the flu was its lowest in decades. Covid is significantly more contagious than the flu and it will find a host, either vaccinated or unvaccinated. Good luck with your no vaccine approach.

Dunno why people think microchip. I just don’t mind wearing a mask everywhere and don’t want to risk getting one of the rare side effects from the vaccine. Side effects from vaccine are rare and dying of covid is rare.

I don't know any of you personally. But I'm a regular on this site. I love all things big orange. I love the Vol family.

I'm a truck driver by my screen name. My co driver and partner of 19 years is now in covid icu in Sidney Nebraska. I am also positive. We did everything right and still got this damn virus. Sadly I may lose my best friend to this crap. I'm 19 hours from my closest family member stuck in my truck. I have to sit here because the next 48 hours are vital. But I feel alone in this world. This big ole tough guy has been brought to begging for prayers tonight from one Vol fan to another. Ive cried more today than I can remember. So if you all could spare a few moments to ask God for a little prayer it would be appreciated.

The science behind it is that masks actually do help. What you’re blocking with the mask is water droplets from your breath or from a cough or sneeze. What is inside those water droplets is hundreds of tiny virus particles. Stop the water droplets with masks and you greatly lower the viral load in the air.

I'm not condoning dishonesty with what Im about to offer so much as I am interested in allowing individuals to stack the deck in their favor. If you know of an elderly person who is in need of or perhaps you who would like a booster shot because it's been 6 months since your last shot simply walk into a Kroger, CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, etc. and get a "booster" shot.

I called my local Walgreens, they are saying as long as it’s been over 28 days since your second dose, just come in, no appointment necessary.

Will do, HFM is no joke either, that was a terrible sickness, doctor said it didn’t affect adults but I had those same symptoms (like Covid, no cough) each time my kiddos were infected with it.

Will do, HFM is no joke either, that was a terrible sickness, doctor said it didn’t affect adults but I had those same symptoms (like Covid, no cough) each time my kiddos were infected with it.

All I know is right now, it is spreading rapidly here in the mid TN area especially around Nashville and several points east including here in the Lebanon area.
