Coronavirus (No politics)

I hope proof of vaccination is required
A vaccination does Not keep you from getting _ovid. It merely lessens your symptoms of it. It Only LESSENS your symptoms! You can still carry it vaccinated or Not.

A year ago we fussed at people for being selfish by not wearing a mask, explain how getting vaccinated protects others.... it doesn't.

I've had it, and I work on a unit that deals with only those particular subjects.... so good luck correcting me here.i guess you will repeat what you hear from the fear porn on CNN or MSNBC

Once you revealed yourself as a conspiracy theorist with that link it really became a lost cause. So some Veterinarian who claims he has developed a "universal vaccine" claims that Covid vaccines are the cause of variants and of course, only his product is the cure. but he once worked for the Gates so he is legit. Ok.

Sorry, friend, not a conspiracy theorist. I fully supported the masks, lockdowns, and “15 days to flatten the curve” last year. Supported the creation of the vaccines, too. I was following the COVID crisis in China in December of ‘19.

But, when I saw how the virus & vaccines were being used to instill greater fear in the populace, something didn’t seem right. When I actually experienced COVID, it made me question why we had destroyed our economy and enforced such mandates.

Here’s the difference between you & me, friend: I don’t agree with your views, but I’m not arguing that you shouldn’t be able to attend a Tennessee football game this season.

You are the one hoping that others are excluded. You are the one arguing that the rights & privileges of others should be revoked for your own sense of security. However, that security is illusory, as the very measures you propose to be mandatory are INEFFECTIVE at providing that security.

Also, I merely shared a link that argues that vaccines may cause variants. That doesn’t mean that I endorse someone’s entire views wholesale. That’s not how anything works. If I quote Einstein concerning general relativity that doesn’t mean I would necessarily agree with his views on quantum physics.

If you can "Identify" yourself as being another Gender then today I declare that I am now identified as "Vaccinated!"

Thank you

How many non-vaccinated people have died from Covid in Tennessee?

way, way too many. I've never spoken out against getting vaccinated. Anyone able to should get vaccinated if they desire to do so. I do believe people have a right to not if that is their choice. That is what our nation is about.

His point was few get hospitalized if vaccinated. If you look at what I quoted, I was responding to what he said. Not promoting not getting vaccinated. I was vaccinated the moment I was eligible.

"TDH says right now, 96% of all new cases in Tennessee are among unvaccinated individuals and 96.9% of all COVID-19 deaths were among unvaccinated individuals."

That headline isn't sexy though.

read my earlier post about my daughter. Numbers and percentages are meaningless to me. I have a high risk personal situation that cannot be protected by the vaccines. I was just responding to someone saying vaccinated people would not get very sick.

People should try to reply to posts in context.

How many of the “non vaccinated” that have died, previously had COVID?
So if you have previously survived Covid, what’s your chances of contracting it a second time and dying?

And for the most part, they don't. That was the context of my post (you said "explain this" so I was trying.)

We all have our personal experiences. Too bad this thread couldn't have stayed about that, and not turned into a debate on which side is right.

If it was one of your family in the situation you are asking about, how would you feel about the chances? No big deal because it was just .015 chance?

My chances and my families are good. We have all had it. All survived it. If I were afraid of contacting it, I’d wear a mask. I’m not and I won’t.
Can you answer my question or not?

I never said it prevents anything. Don't be the guy that wants to just argue for no reason.

Agree but how do you verify? Everyone will say they’ve had it and just didn’t go see a doctor because their symptoms weren’t severe. Vax card is only way to verify and if everyone would get vaxxed we would have a lot fewer headaches than we have currently
Can nobody fake a Vax card. I did a lot of drinking on a fake ID
