My wifes ex did something like that to us when we were moving to Florida in 01. He is a lying jerk, but he is not abusive in that way. He cost us 10-15 grand in attorney fees and lord knows how much in extraneous expenses just to show up one day and say "here she is, I'll sign whatever you want"..Bro for what it’s worth I feels your pain. My wife can’t move out of North Carolina because my Stepson isn’t able to move out of state even though his dad is a Child Abuser who pled guilty dropping it to a misdemeanor from a felony. Which in North Carolina means you can still get custody of your kid.
Wasn’t in the kids life the first two years he was alive and then beats him within the first year of knowing him so bad that they did a rape kit on him at 2 years old. Yet somehow the justice system thinks it’s okay for the Dad to have 50/50 custody.
Anyways, that means I live and work in DC and my wife and kids to include my (4 yr old daughter live in NC) we went to court and the judge said everything pointed to him being able to move out of state except he was established in North Carolina (he was 6 at the time) he is now 10. $10,000 down the drain!
So now I pay for 2 cars 2 houses and my wife doesn’t work, barely get to see my daughter grow up and the whole time the kid still gets hit at his Dads and his dad almost never does anything with him, doesn’t even pick him up when it’s their time to have him, barely goes to any sporting events or anything.
Yet the whole time I have never done anything wrong and barely get to see my family. Lol, so I feel you bro. On the financial and family side.
He had one of his anti-negavol tantrums and got a little carried away. He had probably gotten a couple of warnings leading up to it within a small time frame..I still don’t know what he got banned for lol
