lol

if you've concluded that on Day 1 of fall practice in Heupel's first year, you ought to log off and sit out the next three seasons. 2023 is the soonest we can reasonably fire the guy!
If his assumption of playing players they think will be the best instead of letting players compete and earn snaps, I would agree.

Declarative statements like “competition in name only” demand equal declarative statements. If you don’t keep pace you get left behind. I don’t believe that about Heupel but IF TRUE?

What do you think those three guys were doing all of Spring? It isn't like this is his first time seeing all of them play.

I'm not a "trust the coaches" guy, but I think Heupel's track record as a QB and coaching QBs... We could probably give him the benefit of the doubt if he is giving Milton every chance to win the job after watching HB and company practice for all of Spring. Even if HB is the nephew of everyone on VN.

I mean I wouldn't even concede that. Shrout had the best moments of anyone last season.

90% of HB's time on the field was at the beginning, middle, or end of blowout losses. The idea that he proved anything last year is just kind of crazy to me. He could be the guy, but if he was doing all of these great things on the field last year we would have won more than three games. QB play was bad last year. For the entire room.

He started the last half of the season LOL

Anyone proclaiming HB the guy because of what he did last year, or anyone proclaiming him a bust because of what he did last year, are both wrong. We don't know what Bailey is yet because he has not been coached. He had good moments, he had bad moments. Not worth debating. We'll find out whether he is the guy or not in a few weeks.

I for one am not proclaiming anyone anything. Just the statements that Milton has this wrapped up cause the coaches want it isn't true. Like I have always said I just want the best QB period.

stuff like this is annoying. He doesn’t suck and I admire that he actually sticks around to fight unlike most kids these days. Did you think he sucked in his freshmen year when our offense looked at its best with him in before he got hurt?

Kid has potentially the highest overall ceiling in our QB room and could be a great fit for offense if he can click mentally. Physically kid is very talented and does not suck. If it clicks mentally for him I would not count him out
Smartest thing Maurer did was stick with us for an extra year. He is going to receive excellent coaching and if he Transfers next year will be above all the other QBs at whatever team he transfers to. Very smart of him. (He is a good QB but I don’t see Maurer finishing his time here)

For those who have watched his film, how often is Milton a runner? He seems like he's got the body to be really effective as a rusher.

Did Heupel rush qbs very often at UCF?

I agree with this, but if you (not you, you in general) could not see the kids potential to be great from what we have seen under the circumstances...then you are blind.

It’s not racist to say or use “y’all.” She’s being criticized for using AAVE and using a “black accent” for personal gain or IOW cultural appropriation. But much of AAVE shares commonalities with general southern vernacular. Y’all is one of those words that black Americans carried with them during the Great Migration. Northern Americans and whites in other regions didn’t adopt these words but a lot of southern speech stayed in black communities outside the South. Y’all became popularized by black artists and whites and other ethnic groups outside the south began adopting it. However, as many of you will recall in our own life times white or black it was drilled into us that y’all was not a word and those who used it were seen as uneducated — that includes black communities outside the South who kept the word as a common part of daily speech.
That was my point. I’m not an SJW. Far from it
