The only expansion teams the SEC were looking at after the last round in 2012 were:Hate it. Dump A&M, Mizzou, Arkansas & say no to UO (it’s the university of OK) & TX. Expand the conference with teams from the SE. Clemson, FSU, UNC, Miami, etc.
The SEC will never go after ACC teams because it cost each ACC team 50 million to leave the conference....So everyone with that Clemson to the SEC or UNC to the SEC love affair can get over it...Not ever going to happen...Besides Florida would never allow FSU or Miami to come to the SEC.Hate it. They match the Big Ten’s qualifications. They touch a member state, are AAU and are a profitable athletic program. The only other options for BiG Ten is Notre Dame who is likely a no, Iowa state and maybe a desperate effort to get an lower tier ACC schoolKansas is a lame duck football program...Great in basketball but I highly doubt the Big 10 would even consider them.
