To Protect and to Serve II

The officer was understandably frustrated at these low IQ crackheads, but was completely unprofessional and should've been written up for saying that...escalated the situation when he could've just said, if you aren't going to cooperate I will just leave...If i were his supervisor, i would've written him up and required him to type an apology to send to them.

Nope. He should be fired on the spot.

In any other leadership position if you tell a co-worker, a subordinate, a customer, or some other Joe blow while on duty to suck your d$ck you would be fired on the spot. No apology letters, no written reprimands, but fired.

We want to hold citizens to a higher standard than cops which is disgraceful. We always assume what police officers have to deal with everyday on the job, but what about the average citizen being harassed over a blown license plates light?

Right off the bat you assumed those citizens were crackheads. Do cops believe all citizens are criminals? They were going through a very trying situation and instead of de-escalating the situation he tells them to suck his d$ck. Are police officers not trained in de-escalation techniques?

Bad employees are fired everyday for their job performance. Why are cops rewarded for bad performance?

Question... what would happen to the McDonalds cashier if they told a customer to suck their unit? Trust me, cops are not the only ones in this world that have to deal with annoying people. Stop it.

Come on man you know that no other profession but cops have to deal with angry people. It’s totally acceptable to walk around telling people to suck your d$ck.

Ok and again, not saying that behavior was acceptable. And to compare what police deal with to what McDs deal with is silly

Yes it is because McDonalds employees are held to a higher standard.

Ex-Florida deputy gets 12 years for planting drugs

He got off easy. Another crime was committed in that court room.

Here is video of the sentencing.

I like this excerpt from the article:

Teresa Odom, one of Wester's victims, told the judge the deputy had ruined her reputation and deprived her of time with her grandchild. Wester had stopped her for a defective brake light in 2018 and asked for permission to search her truck. She agreed. He claimed he found a baggie of methamphetamine in her purse — but body camera video showed him palming a bag before beginning his search.

WTF is wrong with cops that do this kind of crap?

There seems to be quite a few stories about cops pulling someone over for a busted tail light and then wanting to search the vehicle. Same thing happened with a UT football player here recently. Why do they need to search the vehicle in these instances? If the only problem is that one of the tail lights is out, tell the person to get it fixed and let them go or at most write them a ticket for it. A defective break light alone doesn't present the need to search the vehicle.

I got pulled over once because one of my 2 license plate lights was burned out. I mean seriously?

Cop logic: Busted tail light = probable cause

Never consent to a search.

That’s not what happened with the UT player

That was the only thing you wanted to comment on?

All you care to comment on is me having my facts mixed up on the UT player situation? Nothing else in that entire post?
If you are asking if i think officers should be pulling people over for cracked windshields or no license tag light than no. I never did that. Pulling people over for moving traffic violations like running red lights or speeding is for prevention of traffic accidents. Pulling people over for headlights being out or things like that can be a safety issue especially at night, but things on a vehicle that can be fixed are usually dropped if the person shows they fixed it. There are times that officers use traffic violations because they have reasonable suspicion that other criminal activity is or has occurred but that comes with investigative experience.

I am not an advocate of pulling everyone over for everything and writing them a ticket. That is more a THP kind of method. I support making streets safer and stopping actual criminals.

LA County Sheriff Says He Will Not Enforce New Indoor Mask Mandate | ZeroHedge

“Forcing the vaccinated and those who already contracted COVID-19 to wear masks indoors is not backed by science and contradicts the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines,” Villanueva said in a statement.

“The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (DPH) has authority to enforce the order, but the underfunded/defunded Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department will not expend our limited resources and instead ask for voluntary compliance.

“We encourage the DPH to work collaboratively with the Board of Supervisors and law enforcement to establish mandates that are both achievable and supported by science.”

Some cops are complete morons. 3 idiots in unmarked pickups came a gnats ass away from causing a major wreck in Gallatin. Who trains these morons?
