Number 3 was also a Trump thing. He set May 2021 as the date. Biden came in and pushed it back to 9/11/21. And has now pushed the 9/11 date up, but still later than Trumps date.
Of course trump was just planning it, joe gets credit for actually doing it after the last 3 presidents have only planned it.
Agreed. We have been dragging our feet for too long on the subject, good to finally make a move.Giving credit where it's due, I will give Biden credit for following through on getting us out regardless of where it started. He didn't have to, but he did.
Soon to be replaced with another war coming to a theater near you...
A majority of Americans are too stupid to realize that all that free stuff gets wiped out by inflation. People on fixed incomes like welfare queens and retirees pay the highest price.

Yeah but no one had bothered to do that before.
It may have just been the final step but it was a step no one else would take.
Anybody placing odds on how Trump will be blamed for the withdrawal after the Taliban creates a safe haven for terrorist? It was a Trump decision, but people decided to cut his efforts short. If you don't credit one person because he was voted out of office before the policy was complete, then you can't give the next guy credit for something he didn't begin.
Obama was also pulling us out of Afghanistan. So we can skip Trump and go straight to Obama. It was a Trump decision, but people decided to cut his efforts short. I never wanted Pete anywhere near the Vice Presidency last election. And it didn't really matter anyways, after Biden started to run away with the votes against the Bern, Biden said explicitly he was going to pick a woman POC for VP. I wasn't exactly thrilled Pete got DOT honestly (he is amply qualified for it, but I still wasn't happy about it), but you go with what you get (given his exemplary communication skills and mastery of six languages, I thought he'd be a shoe-in for UN, but that didn't happen). I think Pete has done an amazing job selling the Biden Admin's infrastructure proposals and his other policy proposals to the American people. Biden has put Pete out in the media as a sort of second-spokesman for a reason; Pete was the primary candidate that continuously went on Fox News and other conservative media outlets to try to reach and talk to voters Dems usually ignore. I mean, Pete's presidential primary campaign took off after a town hall on Fox News when he received a standing ovation. It doesn't phase or bother Pete to do a Fox News town hall, CNBC interview, etc. Can't say that for other Dems (save for Bernie, he did the one town hall, credit when credit is due, even though he isn't a Democrat). Hell, Marsha Blackburn even likes Pete, and she is a bigoted homophobe. I don't like that Pete is hamstrung by the Admin with what he can say or do in media, but he is getting his name out there now. That will prove valuable down the road. But you would have said Petey was a great choice so it’s hard to take you seriously.
