I don't know if Pat Ryan saw the field at UT but he had a pretty long NFL career.

He started a few games his senior year until Streater took over for good. I was fortunate to meet him and chat with him during summer session in 1977. He was very kind and humble almost to a fault. He seemed like a really good guy to me that didn’t want to cause an trouble.
