Channel 2 in Nashville is reporting that blood donations are not being accepted from people who have J&J vac. Tried to look this up for further explanation but could not find anything.

Getting my 2nd Moderna shot on Tuesday. How did everyone do after their second shot?

Also, I’m 30, and have read about the heart inflammation in people 30 and younger. Anyone experience this or know anyone that has?

The fact checkers all have an agenda. There are a lot of doctors with licenses that claim they don’t work (America’s Frontline Doctors). I really don’t care if people want to wear them. Just don’t try to bind the requirement on me. I refuse to wear them unless absolutely necessary (and then I cheat with the nose because I consider it unhealthy to breathe my own exhaust).

Had a lot less soreness than with the first Moderna shot, but I ended up feeling mildly sick for a couple days after. My wife had zero issues with the second shot.

Bad news coming out of Israel
A majority of the people there were vaccinated with Pfizer so this data doesn’t apply to the other manufactures.
The data shows the Pfizer vaccine is only 64% successful in preventing the Delta variant and will probably require a third dose.
Good new from the data is that it’s 94% effective in preventing hospitalization and severe disease.

Israel confirms vaccine less effective against Delta variant, eyes third dose

Those are still good numbers. The flu vaccine is only about 60% effective with higher for hospitalizations, too.

The delta variant is about to explode in the south especially with all the still unvaccinated people here. Could we see reduced attendance again in the stadiums this fall ?

It wouldn't surprise me. The delta variant is ripping through one side of my family right now...and that side had multiple members with COVID within the last year. Unlike the previous exposures, the delta variant is literally hitting everyone...little kids too. A one year old is still fighting it off but fortunately was released from the hospital a few days ago. Now one family member's mother-in-law is in the hospital with low oxygen and double pneumonia.

I don’t think the vaccinated public is going to be very sympathetic towards someone who refused the vaccines and then gets Covid. CDC; “We need to social distance and wear masks again to combat this latest surge”. Vaccinated folks; “screw that - tell those dumb asses who wouldn’t take the shot to go lock themselves in their houses”

Tell me how it's not true when I personally know of seven kids who currently are getting over it, one of which spent two days at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, all from being together for just a few hours while one of them had it but had yet to show symptoms. Children are much more susceptible to the Delta variant. Every single one of these kids ran over 102 fever and were legitimately sick...not just the sniffles. Maybe you misinterpreted my post, otherwise you should tell me what I said that isn't true.
