Woot!

I ain't telling you what to do, but I cook salmon in the air fryer from frozen all the time. With the cheap stuff it hasn't mattered. I suggest thawing the sockeye first. You probably were anyway, but I just thought I'd warn you if you had thoughts of trying it like I did. It wont ruin it but it's better thawed first.

I've never contacted them to ask them why, but for some reason when I thawed it under water the cryovac busted and the salmon soaked in water. I don't like that. I thaw it in the fridge overnight.
I’ve never trusted cooking from frozen. And I’m not huge on using hot water to thaw either, but thanks for the tips. My thought was let some salmon thaw and cook it for Thursday.

I don't thaw with hot water, always cold. It's safe on foods that have only been frozen once and it doesn't compromise quality, unless water penetrates the wrapping like it did with this salmon. I bout had a heart attack. Lol.

Anyway, good plan. Look forward to hearing how good it was.

Yeah it surprised me.
Tina lost interest. I should have thought about NorCal, she might have jumped on that! She might have jumped on you if you hadn't chickened out.

Post a pick in some sexy underwear and I'll see if I can change her mind.

I also have cedar planks for the grill that I want to use at some point

@rocytop2624 always sending me nudes when I don't ax for'em, now I'm axing and you won't produce. Don't be shy, if you wanna chance to "smash that" you gonna have to show the goods.

That’s exactly the thing and brand of beauty that I got to use at the ALS I was at last month. It just wasn’t taken care of. Convection on right?
And "it wasn't taken care of" lulz, if it was a Vulcan it's possible it was 60 years old. Lol.

Pay attention. I posted how they had problems with it. It was around 15 years old, blah blah, they reported it to maintenance and he hadn’t done anything about it, blah blah, fire department had to evacuate the building because of gas leak, about 3 weeks ago.

Be careful!!
I’ve definitely set my cedar plank on fire. Twice actually. First time I’m guessing I didn’t soak them enough. Second time I think I just used the plank one too many times. Didn’t have time to soak em today, but I still love how my meal came out. Thought the seasoning recipe would be too strong by the looks. But it was perfect

I guess I missed that.

It was an exaggeration of the truth meant for humor. Thought the lulz and lol was all that was needed.
