Culinary, Arts, Thread.

That was more than I was looking for, but I appreciate it. What I said wasn't thought about, it just came out of my mouth. I was kinda surprised afterwards and really unsure what I thought about it myself. Was interesting to me because of things from my past and present created a "perfect storm" and Its a little scary, but in a good way. Anyway, thanks for the input.

And just so we're on the same page, and I may be misunderstanding you about the Godly behavior part, but right now Godly behavior for me is not acting like an idiot. Lol.
actually I believe the off the top of your head unprepared moments are G-d speaking through us.
I really hope it resonates with your friend

According to Acts 27:8-13 Paul's journey to Rome took him to Crete. Interesting to think it's possible he had oil from that tree and it was around 1000 years old then.

If you believe in that kinda stuff.

NASB-

Fair Havens and Lasea are on Crete.
8 and with difficulty sailing past it, we came to a place called Fair Havens, near which was the city of Lasea.

9 When considerable time had passed and the voyage was now dangerous, since even the [a]fast was already over, Paul started admonishing them, 10 saying to them, “Men, I perceive that the voyage will certainly be with damage and great loss, not only of the cargo and the ship, but also of our lives.” 11 But the centurion was more persuaded by the pilot and the [b]captain of the ship than by what was being said by Paul. 12 The harbor was not suitable for wintering, so the majority reached a decision to put out to sea from there, if somehow they could reach Phoenix, a harbor of Crete facing southwest and northwest, and spend the winter there.

13 [c]When a moderate south wind came up, thinking that they had attained their purpose, they weighed anchor and began sailing along Crete, closer to shore.
