Folks - its about the Golden Rule (Matt. 7:12). Always has been, always will be, despite many power hungry, corrupt people's intentions to rule society and the world in less than honorable ways. You don't even have to be a Christian to know that principle is true. Also know the pendulum swings back and forth.
The NCAA will have their day of reckoning. Personally, I hope it is brutal. However, the member university leaders created the animal we know see. They have to be the ones to kill it and they will not as long as they benefit from it and can shirk their primary responsibilities. However, the legal system and judiciary may leave them with no choice. Oh well...
Salter was too immature to be a Vol. He continued down the wrong path after receiving pardon from his early miscues and while Vol fans lifted his family up when in crisis. Sorry - doesn't have the passion, loyalTy, and not worthy of wearing the orange because he never even made it to that point. JJ and Banks have the passion to wear the orange and they laid it on the line for their teammates. So after they responded well to their miscues - they received deserved redemption.
Prunty has one goal - Prunty. He wants to make the NFL, was given the starter role, and saw Jaycee Horn. You don't go to USCjr to have a shot at an SECCG/NC. That's his choice to make and I don't care. I don't want to short-change the abilities of the roster guys who do want to be here. Let Banks and staff do their jobs and see where the roster is before thinking somebody who played at Kansas is the D's savior.
