Sure you can and 95% of us will whole heartedly agree with you. It's a good message though. It's a hard discussion to have in an open forum like VN in my opinion because you can't tell the wealthy guy that he's not as happy or "rich" as you are because you're closer to your family than he is his.
Lol.
Trying to figure out if vitamin supplements do anything for me stresses me out. Much less trying to figure out which one to use
I’m losing weight, but I’m also watching my calories a lot closer, back to working out regularly, and getting back into running more more now that my foot is (mostly) healed. So combine all of that and it’s working. I still have sleep issues, but that’s something that will likely never go away. I also pee neon yellow after taking my vitamins, telling me I’m not absorbing all the vitamins anyway. But if I get to my target weight, I’ll be happy regardless of what worked and what didn’t.I abused my body for over 40 years with alcohol, cigarettes, not sleeping enough, high stress, not eating right or at all, not drinking water, little to no exercise, illegal drugs....etc. etc. etc.
I was on my feet pretty much 80 + hours a week at a restaurant for 30 years and I chose to wear shoes that looked good instead of ones that were comfortable. I'm paying for that now.
I never ate right and never got the nutrition my body needed....if I hadn't abused alcohol, tobacco and drugs.
To the point, I am committed to correcting some issues I'm having and I'm doing it with diet, exercise and supplements. I don't have a problem spending $30-40 a month on 2-3 vitamins that aren't doing anything, as long as I feel they are. What I do have a problem with is that same scenario but not feeling they are doing any good.
Yeah, that last sentence is where I'm at too. I've averaged losing about a pound and a half a week since I started and I feel great. Only have 17 more pounds to go, but I'm losing it at a slower rate now, a little over a pound a week. Im absorbing my vitamins very well and right or wrong I give all credit to the ginger and turmeric tea.I’m losing weight, but I’m also watching my calories a lot closer, back to working out regularly, and getting back into running more more now that my foot is (mostly) healed.
