Unless there was somewhere else where that was mentioned I’m pretty sure that was just the announcers speculating on why they may have come out flat on Sunday, not actually reporting that the players said that.

I got the impression by how they said it like they had heard it from somewhere. Kris Budden mentioned them being flat on Sunday, then one of the color guys immediately said "Yeah, dugout is huge, fans are further back, it isn't like Lindsey Nelson."

If they were thrown off by that, or had trouble getting up for a CWS game, they are in no position to win or go far in the CWS.
