Can confirm. I lived in NE FL for a couple of years before moving away and the full spectrum of crazy was on display, from Nassau County, to Duuuuvaaaaal County, to St. Johns County. It seemed like the closer to the coast, the more forceful and numerous the examples of craziness. Fernandina Beach and Jax Beach(es) were ripe for case studies when I was in the area.
