Probably my HS team...I'm a Dolphins fan too, so they'd probably get a lot more of my attention...I literally couldn't imagine or stomach the thought of rooting for another college team.

Kansas State. Married an alum and her family is all KState or KU (couple of Missouri folks sprinkled in). Her uncle played for KState on their only bowl team before Snyder arrived.

Of course, I respect Snyder and they have a nice little campus in a charming little college town, so they’re easy to like. I have learned that KU fans, while not obnoxious, are some of the most fairweather fans on the planet. The notion of supporting all sports (not just basketball) is foreign to them. “Of course, we don’t support football…we’re always terrible at it” is actually a valid argument in their minds. Very different mindset than Tennessee fans. No investment.

It would probably be Florida State for me. However I visited Austin TX two months ago, city was awesome. So Texas has moved up my list for sure.

Grew up in Texas, so probably a Texas school. I don't like the Longhorns or Jimbo Fisher, so probably TCU or Texas Tech. I always enjoy watching the Air Force Academy play, too. I'd throw them in there as a possibility.

But seriously, in the SEC at least, my 2nd team had to be LSU. Their passion and us against the world mentality feels very close to our own as Vol fans. Plus Hillbillies and Cajuns share that second class citizen status that creates close and strong bonds within the respective communities. I „get“ Cajuns in a way I don’t other groups in the South.

Me too.... I live close to Winston Salem and WFU is class all the way around. Their 35,000 seat stadium is perfect to watch a game and their fans are incredibly nice and decent folk, not nasty and vulgar like alot of bigger schools.

I'd also cheer for Nebraska. Lived in Lincoln during the Osborne years and was really impressed with the civility and politeness demonstrated by their fans to opposing teams. Some of the friendliest and real genuine people on the planet live in Nebraska.
