He's not wrong, but if a 4 team playoff is adequate to decide the outcome of D1 football with over 100 teams, then why does the NFL have a bigger one to decide the outcome of a league with 32 teams. The CFP changes are needed, but yes, poor hires are keeping bluebloods like Tennessee and Texas down more than the existing CFP system. Doesn't mean it isn't prudent to refine the system.

As long as Bama doesn't have a salary cap, CF is always gonna be a little dodgy.
