I do think it was a good run - truth is, it's been a great year with a short bull pen.... Is that not the truth? It is the truth whether the Vols come back and win in the 9th or somehow make through the losers bracket in win (again being short in the bullpen). I'd love to see us come back in win the game but dont think that is going to happen.

If the Vols lose, I hope they fight through the loser's bracket and win the regional. But if they dont, they had a great year.

The turning point in this game was the hit by pitch overturn call, that call completely changed the momentum of the game.

Blast me if you want. I can take it.

I agree. That call took the wind out of the sails for the Vols it seemed and they parlayed it into more bad base running and pitchers slow to cover first base and less plate discipline. Bad umpiring should not translate into bad baseball with D1 kids. It just shouldn't.

Call against the Vols previously was garbage, same with the call that benefitted the Vols. Both runners were safe regardless of the alleged obstruction/interference.

Just not a good game for the Vols - the momentum was lost on the hit by pitch overturned call.
