But he said...Because you don’t deal with the TVA reservoir rotation that we do. By September lake Chickamauga is 15 feet down from summer time levels
To make a game would have to be labor day. Will take about 6 days travel by boat (3 days each way). Cant catch a later game because TVA starts dropping the lake level after the 4rh of July and it's almost at winter pool Labor Day. Don't want to navigate if it's all the way down. Why is this confusing me?
It's still about 2 ft above winter pool. But he said...
We may make it one day. Would be an end of summer thing. TVA starts dropping the water after the 4th and by Labor Day it's about bottomed out up here.
Labor day is at the end of summer, but it's going to be bottomed out.

114 was talking about me bringing the boat to K'ville for a game.
This must be the one and only justification for those horrendous August games. So people can bring their boats in from a distance, and then pass out in the heat of an August noon game.Labor Day is end of summer.

I'm pretty sure the Vol Navy is made up of boats in Loudon and the north end of Watts Bar. Coming from any further in later Sep and on is asking for trouble. This must be the one and only justification for those horrendous August games. Yes, I've seen the water drop 3 feet just a few days after Labor Day. TVA water level management is not the most intelligent thing on earth. It's only important to me because I sometimes wonder if it's more than just "getting old" that I'm confused by some thing's. This is one of those things.
And August games are within a few days of Labor Day. I'd there that big of a difference in water level in just a few days?
Yes. I’ll send you pictures this year. They open up the spillways and drop the lake in a hurry. It's only important to me because I sometimes wonder if it's more than just "getting old" that I'm confused by some thing's. This is one of those things.

Traveling a long distance you get into bad situations when the water is low. Your regular deep areas that you are familiar with would be okay.Lulz.
I guess I was just reading too much into it. Labor day is end of summer and if they start letting the water level down July 4th and by Labor Day it's bottomed out, I didn't see it being possible to see a game since they usually start Labor Day weekend.
I didn't consider the difference in the water level to be a big enough difference from Saturday to Monday if they started on July 4th.
