Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Idk I guess it would depend on which health expert you are talking about
Can we start with the ones who used obviously flawed science and logic to claim masks needed to be worn outside? They failed, what most 8th graders, would have called out as bs data for their study to push the narrative that they were needed. But now we know not so much. The same people who are good with this are the ones now claiming masks are still needed for vaccinated people.

yes because we have actual scientists we can get the information from 1st hand
So the president shouldnt speak, at all, about the measures he enacted to save us from the worst disease to hit the world in 100 years?

Typically the complaint on Trump and Covid is that he didnt openly agree with the scientists. But here you are complaining about one of the few times he does. You cant get out of your own way with your obsessive Trump hate.

Just like many red hatters who couldnt help but make up stuff to go after Obama. Again congrats on sinking to their level.

To answer your question... yes.

I stated numerous times that Trump should've resigned as he was completely underprepared for the Covid storm that hit us.

If Trump had resigned in April of 2020, admitting he wasn't up for the job, I would have a lot of respect for him. It takes a real leader to step aside when they know they aren't up for it. Happens all the time in the private sector.

I also think it may have saved a lot of lives and jobs.

European leaders seized more power during the pandemic. Few have 'exit plans' to hand it back - CNN

CNN reporting on European countries overstepping their boundaries but not a mention of some Dem governors in America doing the same…

Interesting that over there they consider personal freedoms to be a liberal position whereas in this country it's a conservative thing

Over the course of his presidency, Macron has been accused of drifting from the centrist liberal platform on which he was elected in 2017, most notably taking a harder line on Islam and immigration to compete with his top political rival, the far-right Marine Le Pen.

Jobs possibly. Depends on who replaced him and if they signed any of the trillions away like Trump did. Seeing Biden doubling down on that particular dumb says that wasnt a Trump specific dumb.

And further our CFR is better than other advanced nations in Europe. So not a whole lot of room to blame Trump there.

You think Cuomo and Whitmer should have resigned too? Their approach killed a lot of people

I'm open to that argument yeah, but they also had less information and resources than Trump did so its a very different circumstance

What resources did one need to know that sending C19 infected people into nursing homes was a bad idea?

One of the resources Trump had was loaned to Cuomo. It was a Naval Medical ship. Cuomo send it back w/o using it as he ordered C19 patients to go to nursing homes.

Tastylicks, you have a very poor grasp of facts. You spout all kinds of nonsense but it's not consistent with the facts

Its a simple fact. Governors don't get the foreign intel that Presidents do. And if you are talking about resources, I mean surely the state of Michigan has less than the freakin federal government
You're asserting state governors were making decisions with incomplete information relative to the president?

I didn't defend him at all. Its a simple fact he was working with less information and less resources. I dunno who EL is
Yeah maybe Cuomo should have used all those resources Trump sent him.....

And what foreign intelligence would have saved NY that Trump had that Cuomo didnt? Remember travel bans were already racist, the Chinese had already denied outside doctors/researchers, and the WHO had already spread Chinese lies.
