Maddux threw a cutter though that broke back over the plate. Not exactly the same as Kopps’ slider. He’s really, really good.

Kopps is also 24 years old, so age is not on his side.

That Maddox cutter was like no other. Wow that thing would come back to hit back edge of the plate. His control was beautiful to watch. Baseball has changed since his time.

I mainly meant his off speed pitches are really tough. Feels like everyone wants the guy to throw 100 in MLB now days. A guy like Kopps is tough to hit. He changes speeds on everything. Our batters looked so confused against him. He’s really good. I hope the Reds take him.

I got really annoyed when his partner talked about the homeruns a player made during the series, and all he could think to talk about was the strikeouts. John Ward retired in 1998. Maybe he is the problem. (Don't take me seriously, I'm in a bad mood--I hate to lose)

If you are, is Sam Houston State red on your TV? I've noticed some darker orange teams will look flat out red on TV for some reason.

Another reason why we have thr superior orange.
