As much as I hate to agree with @Catbone , I don't think we can hit Kopps successfully enough to eek this one out. Great game and great series. We played right with the best team in CBB. Nothing to hang our heads about. Proud of the baseVols.


Although if they did manage to pull this off I will lose my stuff.

Maddux threw a cutter though that broke back over the plate. Not exactly the same as Kopps’ slider. He’s really, really good.

Kopps is also 24 years old, so age is not on his side.
