My mother-in-law went to Kroger, and was asked by a worker if she needed help finding anything. She said, "yes, I'm looking for dates." She said she got the strangest look, and it took her a minute for it to register why.

When the pandemic first started last year, I ordered something from The PGA Superstore and was using their curbside pickup. When I got to the store, there was a young girl standing behind a table at their front door and she was responsible for making sure everyone picked up and signed for the correct item. There were probably 6 guys behind me and when she handed me the item I bought she said all I need from you is a name and a date.
I didn't miss a beat and I said "Ohhhh that's gonna be a problem". She looked confused and said why. I told her that my wife didn't like it when I dated other women. The guys behind me were laughing out loud. I don't know why I said that to her---it just came out but she did get a kick out of it :):):):)

Our bats need to wake up. If they can hold us scoreless in the first half of the game they can bring in that closer that is absolutely lights out and it will be tough to pull this one out if that happens.

He threw a ton of pitches friday. Idk how close to 100% he can be in less than two days rest

Even if he isn't 100% I don't want our bats to have to face him tied or trailing. We need a lead and then the pressure is on the hogs.
Luckily Tidwell is holding his own. But Lockhart is dealing. He could throw a complete game if the Trend continues. Hope it doesn’t

Remember that era in the late Dooley years and early Butch years where we stunk at pretty much every sport?

So glad those days are gone!

Enjoyed basketball this year (though it ended in disappointment) and am loving baseball!

Staring down another multi-year football rebuild is easier knowing basketball and baseball are competitive and generally fun to watch...

Agree 100%.

One note on basketball: I think the early Final 4 dark horse talks last year were dumb, the team was obviously missing a true PG and depth at the bigs. That said, it’s going to be real hard not to have HIGH expectations this year with the way that roster is put together
