would be nice to see reporting of % vaccinated over 18 (given that's who was targeted) - my rough calculations have it over 60% with at least one shot and close to 45% fully vaccinated. Compare to this article (46% and 35%).

Can any of you explain exactly why nobody wants to work right now? I mean, stimulus checks only go so far, and we know that most people blow the hell out of them, rather than saving them wisely.

We have never had trouble finding nurses, and the applicant pool is very shallow, at the moment.

Can't speak to nurses specifically but the big reasons seem to be a perfect storm of: 1) lack of financial need due to federal funds; 2) schools still not fully open and now moving towards summer so lack of place for kids to go during day; 3) uneven reopening - some states that are reopening have a pattern of opening then closing so people have been burned before by going back into the work force only to have their job taken away; 4) some people scared to go back to public life.
