Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

I had some experience with telehealth when the pandemic first hit. I found it miserable. Not just because of the obvious….not being able to truly examine someone. But you’re right that it was very difficult to establish rapport. And my line of work doesn’t really need as much of that compared to mental/behavioral health. And I also agree with the laziness aspect.
Telemedicine is good for kids when it's 9pm and you don't want to go to the ER when you know it's a sinus/ear infection and you just need a script. I'll gladly pay $40 to get that done.

Can't speak for all schools, but many do not. I'm sure none will this year.
Constant e-mails went out in our county instructing parents to not send in their kids when they had any symptoms.
Speak for your school, then. And not last year or this year. Under a normal year with normal circumstances.

Yeah, Cheaper, easier, quicker. much better.

Only those threatened financially by telemedicine would argue that its a bad thing ...

LOL! I can see that.

Does your school still recognize perfect attendance?
There is no school in my county that has recognized perfect attendance for the past two years. I do not believe any will recognize perfect attendance in the future. As for 3 years ago, I think it was about half. The schools I'm most closely associated with did not.

Thanks for finally getting to the most accurate answer. Could have saved some bandwidth by doing it earlier, but as as Freak's buying. ;)

One kid in my high school class was honored with perfect attendance from K through 12. He and I were in school together for 13 years. I, on the other hand, made liberal and judicious use of my sick days.
